Please note that we don’t have a volunteer to staff our Archives this upcoming Saturday, May 5. Our apologies. If you would like to make an appointment to get some research done, please call 846-4379 and we’ll find a time for you. Thanks for your understanding.

Visiting the Archives

Please come visit us and use our resources and find information about North Yarmouth history… your old house… your road… town organizations… Maine family history… and more!

We are open for research on the first Saturday of each month, 9 am – 12 noon.

Please note that we are staffed by volunteers; if you wish to access the archives at another time, you will need to make an appointment.

For more information, please call (207) 846-4379 (NYHS president).

North Yarmouth Historical Society Archives are located at 463 Walnut Hill Road (Route 115), in the Walnut Hill Station building (also the location of the North Yarmouth Fire & Rescue and the satellite office for the Cumberland County Sheriff Department). Look for a brick building on Route 115, just north of North Yarmouth Variety and adjacent to the North Yarmouth Village Green.
